Disability Showcase Day in Lowestoft - 24th March 2012
Optua held its 10th Disability Showcase Day at the newly refurbished Water Lane Sportcentre in Lowestoft on Saturday 24 March.

Disability History Month event launches new group
A new group to enable disability organisations and disabled people in Suffolk to work together has been launched to celebrate Disability History Month in Suffolk.

Disability Involvement Day 2011
Optua helped to organise a disability involvement event in April 2011 which gave disabled people in Suffolk the opportunity to talk to the organisations with responsibility for the decisions and services which affect their lives.
Over 130 disabled people, groups and representatives from statutory organisations came along to the event at the Suffolk One centre in Ipswich. A report from the event and the outcomes from it will be available soon on this website.
