Over 90 disabled people came along and enjoyed a sunny day of disability sport and 2012 themed activities at Optua's 10th Disability Sport Showcase Day in Lowestoft.
The event was held at the newly refurbished Water Lane Sportcentre in Lowestoft on Saturday 24 March.
The event gave people of a wide range of ages and disabilities the chance to take part in a number of sports and activity workshops in the lead up to the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The activities on the day included Boccia, climbing wall, cycling, dance, football, gymnastics, judo, table tennis, spin class, squash, swimming and zumba.
You can see more photos from the day on our flickr pages.
The event was the latest organised as part of Optua's Disability Sport Academy Project which has enabled hundreds of people across Suffolk with learning, physical and sensory disabilities of all ages to try different sports and activities with a 2012 theme.
Optua's Showcase Days were awarded the official London 2012 Inspire Mark for the way they've used the spirit of the Olympic and Paralympic Games to inspire local people.
Optua has a DVD available showcasing disability sport opportunities in Suffolk. Please contact us for a copy or you can see a short version on you tube by clicking this link.
